The food is really delicious, i enjoyed the seafood soup , it blew me away because of how tasty it was .Also had ordered egg prawn fried rice that was also very tasty. Overall you should definitely try the food here including the soup.

DELICIOUS!!! Best Chinese takeaway ever. But beware Uber Eats prices are 20% higher than the original pricesIf you want to buy a takeaway, buy on Mr Delivery they are still a bit expensive but saved R50 on Mr Delivery rather than Uber Eats. Will be cheaper if you go eat there

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Tong Lok. We chose the 3 course special menu for R95. Value for money! Chicken and mushroom soup, beef chow mein and sweet and sour pork with rice or noodles. It was all served piping hot and was delicious. The owner and staff were friendly and accommodating. We plan on stopping in there again very soon.

Best Chinese food in Durban . We have only tried the Chow Meins and the Sweet and Sour chicken but it's the best Chinese by far compared to other places in Durban North/Umhlanga in my opinion. Prices are reasonable and on par with our Chinese food places. I love the Chicken Chow Mein. The best mildest sauce and crunchy veggies . Quick and friendly serving. Haven't eaten in though it does look like a nice spot although there is a bit of noisy traffic just outside their door.

We tried this restaurant for the first time this weekend and omg it was soooo good we ended up ordering twice... we had the prawn spring roll, chicken fried rice and pork chow mein and it was divine... we have tried many asian style restaurants but this 1 is definatly the best. Well done

We took a chance at this place as we've been going there for many years, but there is new owners and the reviews are not great. We can honestly say that the food is worth it! The only disappointment was the ice-cream, it had a grainy taste and was really hoping for a bow tie. Nothing fancy, but really tasty, flavorful and fresh food.

My first time here at Tong Lok and I had a great experience! The Chicken Spring Rolls are large, meals and drinks are well priced and filling. I had Menu A which includes Chicken Spring Roll, Beef Chop Suey, Noodles and Bow Tie Ice Cream. Also try the pork dumplings you won't go wrong. SAKE is great too. Also while you're at the counter, grab a fortune cookie for yourself. It's only 5 bucks
